Faith
Service Learning Project of the Month
Sulzbacher Drive and Operation Christmas Child

As part of Christian Formation and in honor of the fruits of the spirit of love, kindness and goodness, we ask for offerings of socks, gloves, mittens, hats, and scarves (adult and kid sizes) from Nov. 3 - Nov. 19. They will be taken to Sulzbacher over Thanksgiving break for distribution to those in need. Even though it is very warm now, cold weather is right around the corner. Jesus has called us to love and care for one another and such gifts warm not only the bodies of those who receive them, but also the hearts of all those participating. Last year, we collected around 80 pairs of socks and 40 blankets that were given to those in need of warmth during the winter months. The help was much appreciated! Let's extend those fruits of the spirit of love, kindness, and goodness beyond our school and out into our community! Items can be brought to the Christian Formation classroom.

Several grade levels are participating in the Operation Christmas Child project.  Watch for the familiar red and green box and return it with the recommended items.  The boxes are due by November 17th.

Arts
Artists Of The Week

Congratulations to  Hannah and Mary,   our Artists of the Week! Their class recently studied the works of George Rodrigue, known for his Blue Dog series.  Hannah and Mary each capture Blue Dog's inquiring gaze.  We recognize our student artists at Monday's flag assembly.  Be sure to stop by the school office to see the originals on display.
