December's Service Learning Project
Need a great way to get in the Christmas spirit and show some love to someone in need?  Grace students are partnering with Grace church to compile Christmas blessing bags for people in nursing homes. The greatest need is for socks with non-skid bottoms and small lap blankets. (Walmart has perfectly sized, small fleece blankets for $2.50). Other items that we would like to include in the bags are fragrance-free lotion, large print word search puzzle books, and small stuffed animals. Students will also be making Christmas cards for the bags. Items will be collected in the Christian Formation classroom until December 8.  Next time you're at Walmart or Target, let your child pick out a few items for this worthy cause!

"Can" You Believe It?
Our students collected 702 pounds of food for the Green Cove Springs Food Pantry.  Because of this donation, the food pantry was able to stay open extra hours to give to those in need.  Way to go parents for being so supportive of this effort!
