Liberty Elementary March 2018


From Principal Weske: 

Please allow enough time at pick up/drop off and moving forward to keep the traffic flowing. Also, please use the crosswalk and not dart between the cars. Remember to send students properly dressed to be  outside and make sure to label coats, boots, gloves, etc. 

Visitors--ALL visitors/volunteers must enter school through the main entrance, sign in and wear a badge when at our building.  No adults/children are allowed on the field/playground during school hours without checking in at the office first.  If you would like to meet with a teacher about your child  you must make an appointment in advance. 

Sole Kids--We are excited to have Sole Kids back this spring.  Please go to www.solekids.org to register your student.

PARKING 









A reminder that the 3 reserved  parking  spaces in the Liberty 
parking  lot are reserved each month for the those who had the
winning bid for at the Liberty Love Auction.  Please respect that 
these spaces are reserved for those who generously donated 
money for our Liberty students and not park in them if you are
not the  winning bidder.  If you are interested in having a  parking  
space you may enter bid on spaces at the this year's Liberty 
Love Auction. .

We are finished with counting 4,936 Box Tops! Great job to everyone!! Our top four classes with the most Box Tops are:

Dear Parents, Students and Staff,
Get your pictures in the yearbook! The Yearbook Staff invites students and parents to submit photos for the yearbook. If you've got great photos of school and community events or you and your friends just having fun, we'd like to see them. Our photographers can't be everywhere. Help us get as many photos as possible to create a terrific book everyone will want to have.

Here is how you can submit photos online:
   * If it does not automatically log you into the site, enter username: 409883663
   * Browse to select the photo(s) you wish to upload.
   * Enter information about the photo and provide contact information in case the staff needs additional information.
   * Click "Save Details".

Just For Kids

Kindergarten Registration is March 8th 3:30-5:30! 

Be sure to stop by our table and learn how you can see our program in action at Liberty Just For Kids!

For children that will be enrolling with Just For Kids for the 2018-2019 please ensure that your child is registered with the AM Kindergarten Class at Liberty Elementary (Ms. Katsumoto's 8:40-11:30 Class).

For families unable to be placed in the AM Kindergarten class at Liberty a waitlist will be started. If the need for care enables the opening of a morning session (8-45-12:30) families on the list will be contacted.

Just For Kids offers many educational and social benefits to children in our program! We compliment and supplement curriculum being utilized in the school district such as: Handwriting Without Tears, Color Me Healthy, ABC Music & Me (Kinder Musik), Low classroom ratios to help support learning, and so much more! Our Before & After school program has children ranging in ages from Kindergarten to 6th grade, this offers a unique experience and ability for social and emotional growth while interacting with a variety of peers.

Our program is recognized as an Idaho Child Care Program (ICCP) provider. Our staff continues to grow through professional development and education so that we can provide the very best environment and experience for your child!
