"Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, and in purity."
--1 Timothy 4:12, ILS theme verse for the 2017 2018 school year

Non-Public School Scholarship Applications
More than 24,000 families attempted to access the application Wed., Jan. 24, which caused the site to crash in the first hour. Repairs are currently being made.
Here is the latest information available from Empower Illinois:
Thank you to all for your patience as we work through the issues with our scholarship application. Numerous technology upgrades and contingency systems are in development to ensure a successful relaunch. This is a delay only and does not impact the availability of tax credit
scholarships from us or other SGOs statewide.

We do not yet have a date for when the application will be available
but we will provide you with at least one week notice.

To receive real-time updates, please sign up for our email communications through the website pop-up and follow us on  Facebook.
Please remember that families who plan to apply for ILS Need-Based Tuition Assistance must apply for an Invest in Kids Scholarship first .
Primary Choir Sings on Sat., Feb. 24
The students in K-G2 will be singing at Immanuel Lutheran Church on Sat., Feb. 24 at the 5:30 PM service! They have been hard at work in choir class, and they are ready to share the anthem and beautify the worship service. Although it is not a required part of students’ music grades, this is a great opportunity for students to share their hard work with the broader Immanuel community and to praise God in the process. Contact Mrs. Rudy at  with any questions.
