Tips from the Sun-Sentinel:

Voters must show photo identification that includes a signature. Besides a state-issued driver's license or ID card, other accepted forms include passports, debit or credit cards with photos, and identification for: members of the military, students, retirement centers and neighborhood associations.

A voter information card, known by many as a voter registration card, is not required. But it's especially useful this year because many voting districts have changed. Every 10 years, districts change for Congress, the state Legislature and County Commission to reflect population changes. So some people won't find familiar names on the ballot and will be in different districts than they've been in the past.

You're allowed to bring a marked sample ballot, palm card or other information into the polling place to help you remember your choices.

People with questions about early voting, absentee voting and elections they are eligible to vote in can call or go online to the Broward Supervisor of Elections Office at http://www.browardsoe.org or 954-357-7050
