Early Voting Ends Today
Election Day is Tomorrow
You Can Still Register to Vote
Dear Neighbor,

Today, November 7th, is the last day of Early Voting. Cast your ballot at any of the city's fifty (50) Early Voting locations from 9 AM to 7 PM today. The closest locations to the 43rd Ward are: 

Lincoln Park Library, 1150 W. Fullerton Avenue
Near North Chicago Library, 310 W. Division
Loop Super Site, 15 W. Division

You may still register to vote during Early Voting today.  However, to do so, you must show two forms of ID, one of which shows the voter's current address.

ELECTION DAY VOTING

Tuesday, November 8th is Election Day.  Polls are open from 6 AM until 7 PM.  

On Election Day, you MUST vote in your home precinct.  Click here  or call our office at 773-348-9500 and we can help you find your precinct location.  

PLEASE NOTE: Some polling locations have changed.  In particular, voters who have voted at 1350 N. Lake Shore Drive will be voting at the Moody Church, 1630 N. Clark Street due to construction at the old location.


ELECTION DAY REGISTRATION

For the first time, v oters may now (1) register to vote for the first time, (2) file an address change, or (3) file a name change on Election Day at their home precinct polling place. 

To use Election Day Registration, a voter must go the precinct polling place for that voter's home address and present two forms of ID, at least one of which shows the voter's current addre ss

Acceptable forms of ID are:

  - Passport or Military ID
  - Driver's License or State ID card
  - College/University/School/Work ID
  - Vehicle registration card
  - Lease, mortgage or deed to home
  - Credit or debit card
  - Social Security, Medicare or Medicaid card
  - Insurance card
  - Civic, union or professional membership card
  - LINK/Public Aid/Department of Human Services card
  - Illinois FOID card

Examples of mail addressed to voter that can be used as ID:
  - Bill, Transcript or Report Card from School
  - Bank Statement, Pay Stub or Pension Statement
  - Utility, Medical or Insurance Bill
  - Official mail from any government agency
