Although God has DELIVERED me from watching the "talking heads" on the nightly cable "news/lies," I still find myself with too much time on my hands during the day. What is that OLD saying?? "Idle time is the devil's workshop!" As I sit watching over Amanda and oftentimes at night when neither she or I can sleep, I turn to my computer out of boredom. There awaits me a "wealth" of news/lies!!! Even FB contains column after column of "news/lies." And just as Michael Corleone said on Godfathers 3: "JUST WHEN I THOUGHT I WAS OUT-THEY PULL ME BACK IN!" As YOU well know, most of the "news/lies" is DEPRESSING!!! Sadly, the long trusted people and institutions we once honored and TRUSTED are no longer what they were and should be. There is SOMETHING about wealth, fame and POWER that changes a man or a woman! How true is the oft quoted phrase: "Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely." Most folks do not know the next line of this famous quote: "GREAT MEN (WOMEN) ARE ALMOST ALWAYS BAD MEN (WOMEN)!!! Just as the above quoted Scripture, WE, who await His return WAIT with: INTENSE ANTICIPATION (IN THE SENSE OF WATCHING!) The CREATURE (YOU and I are the CREATED ONES IN HIS IMAGE!) EARNESTLY EXPECT Jesus return and the return to ORDER and true JUSTICE!!!!!!! For US, this world and this life affords little to none satisfaction.
