CLIMATE CHANGE PHOTO OF THE MONTH
Protecting what we already have.
The benefits from our urban forest are countless. Unfortunately, trees take a long time to mature. Planting new trees is great but caring for the trees that are already established is vital to their longevity and the longevity our urban forest.

ENVIRO TIP
Keep the Environment Pristine,
Leave No Trash Behind

Whether you are going back-country camping, fishing for the day or simply for a dip at the Cascades – pack out what you pack in. Plan ahead and bring a sealable bag or container that will serve as a garbage can until you can properly dispose of everything. Even then, be waste-aware. Leave glass containers at home, bring non-breakable re-usable dishes and cutlery, bury compostable waste (including human waste) 15-20 cm deep 60-100 meters from the nearest water body, choose fragrance-free biodegradable soaps, and separate your recyclables.
