Wednesday, January 25, Gemini Junior High will join our D63 elementary schools and shift School Improvement Days from late arrival to early dismissal

Early Dismissal Days will begin at 7:40 a.m. and end at 10:42 a.m. Learn more.

This free event will focus on modeling healthy communication, conflict resolution, expectations, and consequences. 

Speakers include Gemini Assistant Principal Karen Foley and Nicole Espinoza, LCSW, Niles Family Services. Child care available. Learn more.
#63Success: News From Our Schools

Apollo is launching a number of  After School Enrichment Clubs  this month . Free and open to all Apollo students,  topics range from  fantasy basketball and Greek mythology to Spanish, STEM, and poetry. 

Gemini's Symphonic and Concert Bands headed for Maine East yesterday for an annual favorite: the
Band-o-Rama concert! Our students performed with the high school's band ensembles.

Mark Twain  students will be showcasing their singing, dancing, and performing talents next week as they audition for the school's popular annual Talent Show. Twain families: mark your calendar for April 13!

Melzer will be welcoming children's author Aaron Reynolds to the school on February 2! Always popular with his young fans, Reynolds' book Creepy Carrots is a Caldecott Award winner.

Nelson's McTeacher Night yesterday evening, sponsored by the PTO, brought students, families, and teachers together to raise funds for the school. Nelson teachers even took turns donning the giant pie costume!

Stevenson welcomed the Mobile Dentist this week. Sponsored by Smile Illinois, this in-school dental program offers students everything from oral exams to fillings on-site - in many cases, at no cost.
