One District - One Author Kicks Off September 19

Ar e you ready?

This fall all of our D63 families will come together to read two books by the same children's author -- one for Gemini and one for our elementary schools.

Who's our author? Shhh. . . it's a secret - but we'll share a few clues beginning next week - followed by the "big reveal" on Monday, September 26.

That day, all Gemini students will receive a copy of the junior high book -- and the oldest elementary school student in each D63 family will get a copy of the book for younger children. Then, stay tuned for a month of fun as we all read together!

Once your student brings the book home, be sure to check out our One District - One Author website -- featuring, among other things, each book being read, chapter by chapter, on video (you may even recognize a few of our "celebrity" readers!) Find out more.
