Ranch Rodeo this Saturday at the Eastern Wyoming Ranch Rodeo
Lusk, WY— Saturday, July 28th on the Eastern Plains of the Cowboy State, contestants gather for camaraderie and chance to qualify for the Farstad Oil Ranch Rodeo Finals at the NILE.

The Eastern Wyoming Ranch Rodeo has ten teams competing for awards and the first place winner will be invited to compete in Billings this October.

"We have a wonderful announcer that is great, " said Laurie Wasserburger, ranch rodeo organizer, "I am going have him say at our rodeo--the world needs more cowboys!"

That saying is the University of Wyoming's latest marketing slogan. Which ties in nicely with the new partnership between the NILE and the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources at the University of Wyoming. October 13th, the night of the NILE ranch rodeo, is Wyoming Night. A reception before the rodeo welcomes alumni, fans, and potential students to celebrate everything Wyoming--the state, the culture, and the University. A special section of seats in the arena is dedicated to Brown and Gold fans.

Spectators at the NILE will have several teams from Wyoming to cheer for. One will come from the Eastern Wyoming Ranch Rodeo this weekend.
