tico bartender Hot Bartender, Cool Drink...
...a profile and recipe from Chris at Tico

Q. What are guests ordering at Tico these days? What drinks are particularly hot right now?

A. Tico transforms into an after-work party every day of the week. Guests come in for margaritas and Negra Modelos to kick off their evening.

Q. What do you personally like to drink?

A. I'm a huge fan of sipping tequila. Chinaco Anejo seems to be my flavor of the week.

Q. What do you do when you're not bartending?

A. I'm working on other unrelated projects or out enjoying the Boston scene. I just moved back...Boston is the best city in the country!

Q. A guest is looking for the "quintessential Tico experience", but only has time to sit at the bar and order off the bar menu. Which dish do you recommend, and what cocktail would you pair with it?

A. I'd say take a seat, have a shot of tequila with your neighbor at the bar, enjoy some BBQ shrimp or crispy fish tacos and finish off with a blood orange margarita.
