Golden Rule Meats: Argentinian-style grass-fed beef, all-natural pork and chicken
KC Buffalo: buffalo, bison and specialty meats

In its ninth year, Tie The Knot has been a unique and romantic way to legally marry, celebrate love and renew vows. Reverend John Navarre, Chaplain at the Pilgrim Chapel in Kansas City, Missouri, officiated the ceremonies, and guitarist Ted Luce provided musical accompaniment.

Each couple said "I do" during their own private ceremony with family and friends in attendance.
Bloom Baking Company provided delicious mini wedding cakes for each couple to share.

Reservations are currently being taken for next year's Tie The Knot ceremonies on Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2017. Please contact Sue Patterson for more information at (816) 842-1271 or [email protected].

KC Streetcar Update

The KC Streetcar vehicles continue testing and operator training this week during the day and evenings. To date, there are 14 individuals going through streetcar operator orientation and training. KC Streetcar maintenance staff has also been hired and currently being trained.

Streetcar Advertisers Are Getting Rail

The KC Streetcar Authority offers a variety of options and programs for local businesses and corporate partners to take advantage of KC Streetcar's integration into the city. If you're interested in  advertising on the KC Smart City digital kiosks along the KC Streetcar route, visit the website and sign up to receive more information  http://bit.ly/20bYsRH.
Streetcar Testing Is Ongoing

Streetcar testing continues and parking regulations are being strictly enforced. Parking along the streetcar route is allowed in designated areas within the painted white lines.

To avoid ticketing and towing, no portion of a vehicle should touch the streetcar tracks or encroach beyond the white line that runs alongside the tracks. This applies to all vehicles, including delivery vehicles, U.S. postal vehicles and emergency vehicles. No exceptions can be made for temporary or drop-off parking.

Be sure that every part of your vehicle including side mirrors is safely inside the painted white lines. Hopefully this goes without saying, but parking on the KC Streetcar tracks is a big no-no. KCPD Parking Enforcement is ticketing, fining up to $500 and towing vehicles as needed per
City Ordinance #105406 .
