Eco-Garden Update
Help us in three quick, easy ways...
Spread the Word, Let Your Voice Be Heard!
Hello Friends and Supporters!
Eco Garden Still Needs Your Help!
Permaganic and the Eco Garden have recently had some positive steps toward a win-win resolution regarding the upcoming Citirama(R) condominium development.  We are so hopeful for a good outcome, where the  Eco Garden will be allowed to keep its place delineated by the fence at 1718 Main St., and where the new residents will be able to benefit from the services offered at this site for inner-city youth since 1998.  Three easy ways to help, below:
Hugging the Squash!
Take 30 Seconds to  sign our online petition, and forward to your friends or post on FB.
Let's go for 500 signatures!  Attached to the petition you can view Laure Quinlivan's motion in support of Permaganic Eco Garden.  I am pleased that we have recieved verbal support from the folks at Citirama, but since Laure's motion is the only support we have so far in writing, we want to keep these coming into our city councilmembers' inboxes! (petition goes straight to council's inboxes)
Write or Call City Council, we need at least 1 more for a quorum to back Laure's motion
The following 5 councilmembers emails who still have yet to sign on, CLICK BELOW TO EMAIL:

Remember, phrase it positively--Cincinnati, not to mention, Citirama(R) has a golden opportunity to support a long-standing, worthwhile project, the Eco Garden, and really live up to our green and socially-conscious reputation.  We have one of the top 3 best green plans in the nation, right up there with Chicago and SF!
Come to City Hall this Tues., March 12 at 1pm
The Livable Communities committee meets at 1 this Tues., City Hall, 801 Plum St., Council Chamber Rm. 300.  Arrive a few minutes early to sign a yellow card/have a chance to speak.  This is a chance to voice your opinion positively on behalf of the Eco Garden and similar initiatives, how they impact our community, and why they matter.  Please phrase your testimony positively, encouraging city council and Citirama(R) to continue a supportive stance toward the Eco Garden.

Please, do the Eco Garden a favor by keeping your testimony upbeat and positive as possible, we are so grateful that Citirama and the  Community Development dept. of the City have invited the Eco Garden to the table to create a win-win situation, we just need that support official and in writing.  Supporting the Eco Garden is supporting a strong community, ecologically, economically, and socially.
