Midwest High Speed Rail Study
EDR Group examined the economic analysis of a high speed rail system that would serve all major metropolitan areas within 350 to 450 miles of Chicago, for a Midwest High Speed Rail Association study that was released in late April. The research for the study, entitled "The Economic Impacts of High Speed Rail: Transforming the Midwest," was performed by AECOM and EDR Group for the Midwest High Speed Rail Association. Highway Impact Case Studies (SHRP3 C32)
For the Strategic Highway Research Program (Project SHRP2-C32), EDR Group was recently awarded a research project designed to create a short course in developing case studies and enhance the continuing management and operation of TPICS (100 before and after case studies, and a web-based tool (www.tpics.us) used for searching and applying those case study findings). The TPICS web tool was developed by EDR Group for the SHRP2 program.

DOE and DOT National Job Impact Studies
EDR Group is currently involved with two separate national evaluation studies, one for the U.S. Department of Energy (USDOE) and one for the U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT), both focusing on job impacts in particular state economies. Read more |

Marlborough and Framingham, MA Economic Development Projects
The Marlborough Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) selected a consultant team that includes EDR Group, to assist in the preparation of an economic development master plan. EDR Group is using LEAP to analyze the city's employment base and identify competitive advantages and barriers to future growth. Read more The Framingham Downtown Renaissance hired EDR Group to develop a web site to provide public information about both the downtown area and the activities of the organization, and is now analyzing the economic impact of achieving goals for proposed future capital investment in Downtown Framingham.
