They Came, They Ran & Walked,
They Supported the Library
Thanks to everyone who helped make the Friends of the Edgartown Library's third annual Pennywise Path 5K Run/Walk -- held on Labor Day, Sept 7 -- a terrific success. Proceeds from this event support the public programs of the Edgartown Library.

More than 70 runners ran and strolled along the winding route through the woods along Pennywise Path, into town and to the campus of the Edgartown School next to the new library building. It was a beautiful day, and a great event.

Filmmaker Joe Berlinger examines the story of South Boston crime boss Whitey Bulger, including his sensational trial.
