The mission of the Montana Educational Talent Search is to advise low-income, first generation participants to complete high school credentials, while preparing them for post secondary education and a successful career
FAFSA CHANGES
The Free Application for Federal Student Aid helps the government decide how much grants, loans, and work study a student needs for the academic school year. There are 2 important changes to the FAFSA) this year; it will be available earlier (Oct. 1, 2016)  and the tax information required will be taken from 2015. Most post-secondary institutions take these on a first come first serve basis so fill it out as soon as possible for the best chance at getting help.
More information on these changes
REMEMBER: The FAFSA is free to fill out! If the website you are on says you need to pay, you're at the wrong website.
Catch us up!
Let us know what's going on with you since having graduated from the Talent Search program. We still want to be available as a resource. Be on the lookout for contact from our new VISTA asking what you've been doing since finishing your secondary education.
