"
And on the Day when He will gather them, [it will be] as if they had not remained [in the world] but an hour of the day ..." (Surah Yunus: 45)
Assalamu 'alykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh Dear Community,
There have been no credible moon sightings anywhere in the world as of this email, so the final day of the blessed month of Ramadan will be tomorrow, Thursday, June 14, 2018. Eid Al-Fitr will be Friday, June 15, 2018.
Dar-us-Salaam will perform Salatul Eid at 10 AM sharp on Friday, June 15, 2018 at Martin's Crosswinds located at 7400 Greenway Center Drive, Greenbelt MD 20770. Please arrive early and spend time praising and remembering Allaah by making takbir as follows: "Allaahu Akbar, Allaahu Akbar, Allaahu Akbar, Laa ilaaha illallaah, Wallaahu Akbar, Allaahu Akbar, Wa lillaahil hamd." There are other authentic variations of this basic Eid takbir you can recite as well.
It seems like we just announced the start of this month a few days ago, and now the final hours of Ramadan are upon us. End this month striving to please Allaah by making dua, standing for qiyaam, and making a lot of sujood. We invite you to also spend in Allah's way by supporting our projects below. Every good deed you do is worth so much more in Ramadan ... but only for a few more hours.
Please use this final Ramadan night to ask Allaah to accept and support our work at Dar-us-Salaam, jazakumullaahu Khayran !
