Prayer Vigil for the Elections
Monday, Nov. 7th 12:00 noon - 7:00 pm
Tuesday, Nov. 8th 6:00 am - 7:00 pm

As our nation approaches Election Day on Nov. 8th, we have a deep yearning for the Holy Spirit to be present and to guide our electoral process and all who serve in elected office.

Therefore, our intercessory prayer team is sponsoring a prayer vigil.

The church will be open for prayer:
Monday, 12 noon - 7 pm, &
Tuesday 6 am - 7 pm

We will provide a resource sheet of prayers, but you can pray however you wish.
Besides those who may just drop in to pray, we hope to cover the whole vigil time with one or more dedicated pray-ers.

A Sign Up sheet for the Vigil can be found in the Narthex,
or you can sign up online here

At a time when nearly everyone agrees that we are being consumed by fear and division, here is a chance to change the conversation. While we will certainly differ in our politics, we can surely join together in prayer. I hope you will join in this time of prayer. God knows, our country, our leaders, those who seek public office, and those who are voting need all the help we can get.
Let us pray!

Almighty God, to whom we must account for all our powers and privileges:  Guide the people of this land in the election of officials and representatives, that, by faithful administration and wise laws, the rights of all may be protected and our nation be enabled to fulfill your purposes; through Jesus Christ our Lord.  Amen.
