In the middle of election night, equity markets around the world were falling at a significant rate as the likelihood of a Trump victory was becoming reality. The U.S. markets unexpectedly rebounded sharply and have continued their rally a week following, setting new record highs here in the U.S. Equity markets around the world have not fared as well. At the same time, yields on the 10 year Treasury have risen sharply back over 2.2%, about where they started the year.
