Hello Elite Families and Happy Spring!  I apologize ahead of time for the length of this newsletter, but yes, it's that time of year again and there is a lot of information that needs to go out... Please take a moment to read carefully!

Recital Info-

This year our Studio recital theme is "Hooray For Hollywood" and our Ballet performance theme is "Ragtime".
I know the most important thing on everyone's mind..."What is the plan for Recital???"
After many hours of negotiating, planning, and some begging, we have come up with a schedule that works with the extended school calendar, our lighting/stage crew's schedule and Liberty High School's Theatre Department and Administration.  We appreciate everyone's patience and support as we carefully worked through all the details.
Here is an outline of our schedule:

Saturday, June 24th- We will have 2 or 3 shows on Saturday.  This schedule will depend on the Friday Schedule.  Exact Show Times will be posted in April.
I will be emailing out a complete recital packet in May. This packet will include details on rehearsal schedules, show times, recital line up, room mom volunteer sign up, dressing room info and more!
Show tickets will be done differently this year!  We are currently working with TuTu Tickets to set up online ordering.  We will send out ordering instructions in May.

Again, we really appreciate all the support and flexibility from our dance families.  We are trying our hardest to work with the extended school calendar, busy end of the year schedules as well as making a smooth rehearsal and show schedule that will result in an enjoyable and successful culmination of our year.
If you have any questions or concerns about our new schedule, please email us or talk with your dancer's teacher.

Recital Costumes-
Our annual tradition of "COSTUME WEEK" is just around the corner and I  know all our dancers will be so excited to return to classes after Spring Break.  The energy and excitement at the studio is always at an all time high during this time!

Teachers w ill  take a few minutes during each class to have their dancers try on their costumes to ensure proper fit, discuss tights/undergarment requirements and decide on placement for accessories.  If everything fits, the dancers will be able to take their costumes home.  We sure hope they will follow our directions and immediately hang up their costumes once they arrive at home!  If you happen to miss class that week, you may pick up your costume from the front desk or from your teacher at the end of class time the following week.

** If there are any problems with costumes, please bring them to our attention as soon as possible so we can do our best to resolve the problem before picture day!

Recital Tights-

The teachers are working on finalizing their recital tights. By mid April, I will email out a list for each class and we will have a full stock of tights available to purchase at the front desk.

Picture Day-

P icture Day is Sunday May 21st. ..Mark Your Calendars!  I will be sending out the picture schedule at the end of April. Pictures will be taken at the studio by Northwest Sports Photography.  Order forms will be sent home with dancers the week of pictures.
