As we start our 4th week of classes, we are happy to see things starting to calm down. We appreciate the patience and flexibility our families have shown these first few weeks as dancers were adding and dropping classes.  We understand how difficult it can be to juggle busy schedules and carpools. The staff is excited and have big plans for each class.
We are looking forward to a great year!
Days off School--

We realize there are a lot of days off of school during October and November, but the studio is still OPEN.  We have regular scheduled classes during all in-service days, conference days, Veteran's Day, etc.  You can always visit our website and click on studio news to find our closure dates.

Halloween Day- STUDIO CLOSURE
The studio will be closed Monday, October 31st
We wish all our Elite Families and fun and safe Halloween.

Halloween Week--

Every year our dancers ask us if they can wear their costumes to class and the answer is YES.  Dancers can wear their Halloween Costumes to class the week of October 24th - 28th.

We ask that dancers still wear appropriate dance shoes and correct undergarments.  We will not allow any inappropriate or scary costumes, dangerous props, face make up, hats or wigs or costumes that interfere with dancers participating in class.  Costumes with glitter will not be allowed in the studios because it's too hard to clean off our floors.  If you wonder if your costume is appropriate, feel free to ask your teacher.  Remember this is supposed to be fun, BUT it cannot be a distraction the dancers or teachers.

Don't have a Halloween Costume yet??

Starting Monday, October 10th we will have a large rack and boxes full of BRAND NEW costumes from previous recitals just waiting to find a home.  These costumes are extras from re-orders, returns or cancellations.  There are some great costumes and some great pieces that can be made into an original! In previous years we have had dancers make themselves into giant cupcakes out of tutus, rock stars, dancing
diva's and even a couple prom date disasters from Ballet dresses.

Come take a look...all costumes are only $20.00-$25.00. We also have lots of accessories...gloves, hair clips, different colored booty shorts, leggings, and more...all accessories are $5.00-$10.00.

Monthly Tuition--

Please remember that tuition is due by the 1st of each month.  A $20.00 Late Fee will be added to dancer's account if tuition is not received by the 10th of the month.  We send out monthly statements and we ask that you double check your statements each month.  If there is an error in your dancer's class schedule or account information, please let us know. Any questions regarding your account need to be directed to Phyllis at  info@elitedancestudio.org.
Recital and Ballet Performance Costumes--

I know it seems like our spring recital is so far away, but a lot of planning goes into our big shows and it starts with teachers selecting costumes.  I will be sending out our Costume Email and Fees later this month.

Costume fees will be due by November 18th
Teachers will be measuring the dancers after Thanksgiving Break and all costumes will be ordered by December 16th.
All dancers participating in the June Shows are required to purchase a class costume.   Detailed information will be in the Costume Email.

SPOTLIGHT DANCER OF THE MONTH--

This month we shine the spotlight on Gisele Aranda-Dooley!

Age: Proudly 13!
School/Grade : I'm in 8th grade at Stoller Middle School

How many years have you been dancing at Elite?
I have been dancing for 4 years at Elite and I love it!

What is your favorite style of dance?
I love them all but I have to say my favorites are Jazz or Hip Hop.

What is your favorite memory at Elite?
Definitely anytime I step on stage. I love the feeling of the lights shining and looking at the smiles in the audience.

Tell us about your family...
My Mom is an Orthodontist and my Dad does Marketing for companies. I have 2 sisters, Izabela and Chloe (she dances here). We are a very close family and we do a lot of things together like traveling.

If you aren't dancing...what else do you like to do?
I'm weird so I like to go online and read script samples. I love singing and hanging out with my friends at Bethany Village and having sleepovers along with getting Dutch Bros.

Where do you see yourself in 20 years?
As I would be 33, I hopefully still would be dancing and my name will be on the Hollywood walk of fame.

Fun Fact-
A fun fact about me is that whenever there's a special occasion or something that needs planning I always plan it 1 year in advance!
