India-U.S. Defense Partnership Underscored at DefExpo 2018

The strong defense partnership between India and the U.S. was underscored at DefExpo 2018, India's premier defense trade exhibition, held in Mumbai. U.S. Ambassador to India Kenneth Juster and Major General Bryan Suntheimer, Deputy Commanding General of the U.S. Army Pacific, led a large and diverse U.S. delegation to DefExpo 2018.



Ease of Doing Business: Govt. Improves Oil, Gas Bidding Process

In order to further Prime Minister Narendra Modi's mandate of making it easier to do business in India, the Government is taking steps to expedite the bidding process for contracts in the oil and natural gas sector.


 
SEBI Hikes Foreign Portfolio Limit for Govt. Debt, Corporate Bonds

To boost inflows of foreign funds into Indian capital markets, market regulator Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) will raise the investment limit for foreign portfolio investors in central Government securities and corporate bonds in two tranches.
