  Hurricane Preparedness
The Network is tracking Hurricane Irma.
 
Please take this time to remind patients and staff about the need for up-to-date emergency planning, and the facility's notification process should there be storm impact your area during hurricane season.

Now is the time to remind staff and patients about personal preparedness should there be issues with transportation or access to care.  Listed below are website with weather and travel information and preparedness resources.

In the event of an actual emergency, the Network is required by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services to track the status of facility operations and patient access to treatment during emergency events, and to assist in any logistical issues that may arise during and after a facility closure. The Network works with Federal, State and local government agencies as needed to assist with patient safety and keep dialysis facilities up and running during and after any emergency situation.

Reminder: If your facility is forced to close or alter its schedule, you must notify the Network and the State Department of Health within 24 hours.
