The Child Care Development Block Grant (CCDBG) is the law that authorizes the federal subsidy known as Child Care and Development Fund (CCDF). CCDF provides funds to support child care subsidies and improve child care quality at the state level. CCDF regulations dictate the rules that states must comply with in order to receive federal funds. Over the next four months, our e-news will focus on a few topics addressed in the CCDBG. This month, we'll explore partnering emergency preparedness.

Child Care Aware® maintains a database of all of the licensed child care programs in North Dakota. Information from this database is distributed to legislators, families and you. To keep this data as current, meaningful and accurate as possible, we request that you update information about your rates, hours and other aspects of your child care business annually.
Apply to join the Early Childhood Education Council and work with others around the state to promote high-quality early education for children in North Dakota.
