You can get a shot even if you are not employed by the district or not covered under the school's insurance plan. BCBS, HealthPartners, Medica, and Preferred One will be accepted.  You can also pay $35 cash for a flu shot (no checks or credit cards will be accepted).

YMCA Membership Benefit

Chisago Lakes School District is a corporate member of the YMCA. You can join any YMCA and get an additional $15.00 per month if you go 12 times or more per month. This is in addition to the $20.00 per month fitness incentive that is offered through the school district's health insurance with Blue Cross/Blue Shield. Just bring your ID badge or a check stub to the YMCA when you enroll. If you are already a member of the YMCA and are not getting your $15.00 per month discount, please let the YMCA know and contact Heide Miller - 213-2010 or by email

Please follow the link  to take the test. Find your name in the pull-down list, enter your employee number as your password, take both tests, print copies of the certificates and send to Mary Konobeck at the district office.

Safety Tips:
  • As you walk, keep an eye on the ground/floor in front of you
  • Never bend at the waist and lift the box up with your back. Keep your upper body straight and  parallel with your lower legs. Grab the item and push up with your legs, not with your back.
  • Never jerk your body around when lifting.
