Walk for Mental Health with Empowering Minds Resource Center

Empowering Minds Resource Center will be walking with the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) this year! Clients and staff will walk together to raise mental health awareness and acceptance.   
Harford County Open House
On April 20th, Empowering Minds Resource Center held an Open House for Harford County providers and residents! The Harford County Office of Economic Development  presented a Grand Opening Certificate to Empowering Minds and held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for our new facility.

Empowering Minds Resource Center has NO WAITLIST for our Supported Employment Program, which assists with job readiness, job development and placement, and employment stabilization services! Currently, participants are creating resumes, increasing job readiness skills, completing applications, attending job fairs, and entering the workforce. Skate the Night Away with Empowering Minds Resource Center
Empowering Minds Resource Center Clients came out to Shake n Bake on the 12th of April and showed off their speed and groovy moves! Even Direct Service Coordinator Cynthia Bartee got her skate on (top left)!
Casino Trip to Maryland Live!
EMRC clients at Bernard E Mason and M on Madison enjoyed a trip to Maryland Live on April 15th! Clients dined at the agency-sponsored buffet, shopped at the gift store and the mall across the street, and won some money. One client even said she came back with more than she left with!
Empowering Minds Resource Center Transporation
Have you seen us driving around town? The Empowering Minds van provides need-based transportation to clients, including shuttling them to clinical appointments and food pantries. Above dedicated driver Turone Whitehead (left) models with the van.

Empowering Minds Resource Center is proud to announce there is currently  NO WAIT LIST at the agency. We work hard everyday to ensure referrals are quickly processed and clients are engaged by our staff and partnered therapists immediately.  We are ready, willing and able to accept new clients TODAY.
