IN-OFFICE PSYCHIATRIC SERVICES NOW AVAILABLE
Empowering Minds is proud to announce its partnership with Kraus Behavioral Health. Kraus Behavioral Health is a team of psychiatric nurse practitioners that provide diagnostic evaluation, treatment and medication management. Our Baltimore and Glen Burnie offices now house nurse practitioners who are available to provide services specifically for our clients. This collaboration enables clients in need of psychiatric medicine or psycho-social assessment to be seen promptly. We are delighted to have the Kraus staff on board to expand our services for clients and continue a quality standard of care.
TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 8 IS ELECTION DAY
Americans head to the polls on Tuesday, November 8th to choose the nation's next President, Congress and local leaders and representatives. Maryland's early voting is October 27- November 3 at selected polling centers from 8:00 am- 8:00 pm. Residents are even able to register to vote during early voting. Empowering Minds Resource Center is proud to announce there is currently NO WAIT LIST at the agency. We work hard everyday to ensure referrals are quickly processed and clients are engaged by our staff and partnered therapists immediately. We are ready, willing and able to accept new clients TODAY.
Happy Thanksgiving to all Empowering Minds' clients, staff, partners and referral sources. During this season of gratefulness, we extend our appreciation to you for your support and providing the agency with the opportunities to serve the people of Maryland. We are honored to work with and for you!
In observance of the holiday, Empowering Minds will be closed Thursday, November 24th and Friday, November 25th. The offices will reopen on Monday, November 27th.
The office will also be closed on Friday, November 11th in honor of Veterans Day.

TAMEKIA LAPRADE as the agency's Direct Service Coordinator of the month. She was selected for her timeless and consistent efforts in helping her clients remain compliant with services. Recently, she went above and beyond to assist a client that was in crisis. In addition, our rehab team applauds her due-diligence in always submitting very informative and detailed notes each month.
