Empowering Women through Financial Education Workshops
We are honored to partner with the Asian American Commission and the Massachusetts State Treasury Office of Economic Empowerment to bring financial literacy education to Adult Education students in Quincy. On January 18, we hosted 27 students at a workshop covering topics including credit and savings. The workshop, which is given in Chinese, is part of the Office's Women's Economic Empowerment Series, a pilot program focused on empowering women to reach their full financial potential.

BCNC Portraits: Clifford Wong

Since retiring as a high school guidance counselor, Clifford Wong has devoted his energies to giving back to the Quincy community, because it reminds him of his old neighborhood in Boston's Chinatown. Clifford volunteers his time offering financial aid counseling to high school seniors in our Quincy youth program. His experience in financial aid counseling allows Clifford to provide much needed services for low-income Asian families in our college access program in Quincy. On behalf of our youth and families, we are so thankful for Clifford!
