Learn Hebrew this Summer - Either on-line or on-campus!   If you’ve always wanted to learn Hebrew but haven’t been able to find a class that fits your busy schedule, then take a course this summer at Hebrew College. On-campus or online, you’ll find experienced teachers who are native Hebrew speakers, who will be devoted to you and your fellow classmates, and who will help you to steadily advance your skills. Starting in early June Hebrew College offers two different language options, at a variety of levels, to build vocabulary, grammar and improve your speaking ability. For more information, contact Ulpan Coordinator Tzilla Barone at 617-559-8812.

Pa'amonim Chorus: Enjoy an adult singing group performing Hebrew songs on Saturday, June 10 at 7:30 PM! Performances are free and will be held at the First Parish Church. This performance is part of the Munroe Center for the Arts. Pa’amonim (the Hebrew word for “bells”) is a self-assembled not-for-profit group of men and women from the Boston Israeli community who meet regularly to sing and perform together in Israeli, Jewish and other community events.

ROAR: Jewish Leadership Training for Resistance, Organizing, Action, and Resilience: Both HIAS and JOIN (Jewish Organizing Institute and Network) are training Jewish leaders this Sunday, June 11, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM at the Law Offices of Nutter McClennen & Fish-- 155 Seaport Boulevard, fifth floor Boston, MA 02210.  This training will explore: how to respond to the challenges of today - at a moment when many people across the country feel their core values are under assault and want to take action, how can we do so in a sustainable way that builds power instead of depleting it? How can we come together as a Jewish community to make a difference, and not just a statement? RSVP HERE.

Celebrate Israel with the IAC! Everyone is welcome to join the fun on Sunday, June 11, 2:00-6:00 PM at the Arsenal Mall in Watertown. Experience Jerusalem’s exciting mix of ancient and modern right here in Boston! Democracy Demands Engagement: Join friends and neighbors as State Representative Jay Kaufman hosts a workshop on public engagement. This program takes place at Temple Isaiah on June 15, 7:00 PM. RSVP to  Jacob Blanton .
