Kids Learn Bike Safety Skills
School's out for the summer, but the TPO is hard at work making sure kiddos stay informed about the rules of the road! 

Bike Rodeos are  one day safety clinics that are designed to provide young cyclists with basic skills and information to keep them safe as they ride. Check out more photos.

City of Cocoa, SCTPO Celebrate Florida Ave. Complete Street

The City of Cocoa, with assistance and guidance from the Space Coast TPO and the Florida Department of Transportation began construction on Florida Avenue in late 2016 to transform the road, located in the heart of Cocoa Village, into a Complete Street. The agencies held a ribbon cutting event on June 13, 2017.

    2016 Traffic Counts - Now Available!
    The traffic count program monitors traffic level on major arterial and collector roadways in Brevard County.  The results are maintained in an Interactive Traffic Count Database System that provides current and previous year traffic volumes, count location details, trends, graphs, reports, and maps.

    2018 Transportation Project Priorities 
    The TPO will be adopting the FY 2018 – 2022 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) and providing an overview of the TPO’s Transportation Project Priorities at the July 13, 2017 TPO Governing Board Meeting.

    The TIP is a five-year financially feasible program of multi-modal transportation projects.  Projects in the TIP are consistent with the Department’s Tentative Work Program, reflect the TPO’s priorities, consistent with Port, Space and Aviation Master Plans, Transit Development Plans and Local Government Comprehensive Plans, and are selected in part based on the public comment received under the TPO’s public participation process.
