Dear Graduate and Professional Students,

Congratulations on the successful conclusion of the Spring 2016 semester.

Last weekend, I presided over the Ph.D. Hooding Ceremony and congratulated newly minted graduates as peers. I encourage those of you who recently graduated to find time to celebrate and savor this remarkable accomplishment.

For students continuing at Cornell in the fall, I encourage you to balance your summer research and scholarship requirements with time spent enjoying summer's slower pace, quiet campus, and beautiful natural areas.  Summer is a good time to  replenish your reserves and prepare for a productive fall semester.

Cornell has resources available year-round if you need any help or support.
