Endurance Racing Magazine - the newsletter

Greetings!

I hope you are having a great summer. I have been busy working on some new enhancements to Endurance Racing Magazine. Now, you can view a digital version of the magazine. If you go to EnduranceRacingMagazine.com and click on the magazine image under digital issue on the left, you will go literally to an new digital experience for Endurance Racing Magazine.

Why this is good for readers - This new digital format allows me to give you an interractive experience with the magazine.  I want to draw your attention to the ads. If you mouse over the ASEA ad for example, not only can you watch a video about the product, but you can then go to their website. Can you imagine being able to right to a video interview or race video right from the magazine? Well now you can...so stay tuned for these enhancements in the July/August issue of the magazine.

Why this is good for advertisers - As the ASEA ad demonstrates, the magazine can become an interactive experience for your potential customers.

Meanwhile, out in death valley, two very special athletes are doing some very interesting things......

The Circumnavigation of Death Valley

Dave and MarshallMeanwhile, Marshall Ulrich (61), who ran Badwater as well in July started a 500-mile circumvention of Death Valley with David Heckman (shown on the left), whose idea it was to do the trek. The pair are walking 20-30 miles per day and aim to finish up in the next week or so. Marshall's wife, Heather, has been keeping tabs on them and putting regular updates and photos on Facebook.  On Monday of this week, they were about half way done with the circumnavigation. The May/June issue of ERM is still online. The SavageMan issue covers a lot. Four specialists on nutrition, running with cancer, swimming techniques and fitness techniques triathletes can use contributed to this issue.

There are also inspirational stories by cancer surivor, Peggy Lovejoy and ambulatory quadriplegic, Sean VanGerena, as well as trainer/athlete Wendy Mader.
This issue would be nothing, however without the feature articles on Doug Brede and Josh Beck, both are tough competitors who look to conquer SavageMan each year.
