Heart Health Challenge

New Fitness Classes Begin January 7th 

Start the year off right!  Make good on your New Year's resolution by taking advantage of over 15 fitness classes offered each week. Choose from Yoga, Pilates, Cardio, Barre or Zumba.  These classes are open to all fitness levels. And take advantage of this great offer! Weight Watchers Open House January 9th      

Energize Wellness will host a Weight Watchers open house  at 12:30 PM Wednesday, January 9th in the Rotary Room. The Weight Watcher's program allows you to eat real food with no restrictions. Based on 50 years of proven success, the program provides the support you need to learn and keep the lifestyle changes essential for healthy and lasting weight loss. Q: "Can you tell me more about the Mayo Clinic Diet?"  

A: The Mayo Clinic Diet program is led by a registered dietician.  The two-week quick start program jump starts your weight loss, and the long-term plan helps you maintain your new healthy weight. The new course begins January 29th, and meets each Tuesday from 6-8:30 PM.  Employees can join now for 50% off, and pay just $100 for the entire 12-week course. This program is also open to the community. Click here to sign up.

Congratulations to the Weight Loss Challenge All-Stars       

In September 2012, over 150 staff members joined the Energize Weight Loss Challenge. In total, they lost over 509 pounds, with 14 staff losing over 10 pounds each. The top team was the OSMC Slimpossibles, with an incredible 38.5% weight loss. The top individual was Nicanor Aquino, who lost a staggering 15.3% of his body weight.  See his testimonial below.   

Inspiration by Energize   

"I started my weight loss journey back in February when I

innocently weighed myself and was hit by the reality when I saw the scale at 183 pounds. I joined a health club and the Match-Up Challenge. Upon the first weigh-in I was already down 26 pounds, and the Challenge encouraged me to get down to my ideal weight of 135 pounds.  Since then I have been watching what I have been eating, staying active and I cannot wait to see my final weight.  Everyone that signed up for the Challenge and stuck with the program are all winners to me!'' Nic A.
