Sea Camp at Texas A&M Galveston
This past summer, tenth grade student Nicholas Arlinghaus completed a week long Sea Camp summer program with the department of Marine Biology at Texas A&M Galveston.  The highlight of the experience was dissecting a shark!  Nicholas also worked on a research project and presentation that compared microflora and how it grows on different aquatic surfaces.  His group earned the highest distinction for their presentation.  Nicholas is very interested in Marine Biology and would like to become a Marine Biologist one day.  Ms. Estrella was extremely instrumental in connecting Nicholas with this opportunity.  If you have any interest in attending Sea Camp next year, Nicholas is an excellent person to connect with.  Great job Nicholas!
