Home Energy Squad Visits 20,000th Home in July
Twenty thousand is a big number.
It's the number of screaming soccer fans Saint Paul's new MLS stadium will hold--and the number of homes visited by the NEC Home Energy Squad since the service began in 2009.

By installing CFL lightbulbs, faucet aerators, programmable thermostats and other low-cost devices, we've helped thousands of Minnesota homeowners save on their utility bills to the tune of:
  • 1,732,994 therms
  • 14,090,690 kilowatt hours
  • More than three million dollars in utility bill savings*
*Estimates based on projected savings for one year after installation of our devices.
We'd like to thank Xcel Energy for their partnership and support in making this service possible. We feel privileged to have had the chance to help so many Minnesota homeowners save on their bills, and are looking forward to helping many more!
