Guidance on Body-Worn Cameras and LAP

MNADV, in collaboration with the LAP Advisory Council and several other national organizations, developed new guidance for jurisdictions implementing the LAP across the U.S., Guidance on the Use of Body-Worn Cameras (BWC) During the Administration of the Lethality Assessment Program (LAP).

We are hosting a webinar on this guidance, scheduled for Monday, June 27, 2016 at 3:00-4:30 pm EST intended for domestic violence programs, law enforcement agencies, and other partners that are currently implementing the LAP throughout the U.S.

Conference Thanks

Thanks to everyone who attended our June conference, and especially to the conference sponsors, speakers, staff, and planning committee for their efforts and participation.

The keynote speaker, Anna Melbin, highlighted her work with the Full Frame Initiative, which provided a refreshing lens to holistically meet the needs and support healing that extends beyond the victimization and immediate crisis.

We were so pleased to have our Platinum Sponsor, Kaiser Permanente, present to display their moving Silent Witness exhibit. For a full list of the sponsors and exhibitors that supported the conference, view the webpage here.
