"Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed, Something....Blues!"

The Muses Workshop Concerts presents Claricello in a chamber music concert entitled, "Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed, Something ...Blues!" 

In a wedding of musical styles, this concert explores Gregorian chant, jazz-inspired classical works, and other selections that highlight the marriage of sounds between the clarinet and cello including a newly commissioned work by Saint Mary's College faculty composer, Zae Munn.  Performers: Jason Gresl, clarinets - Lara Turner, cello.
 Suggested donation is $15 for adults $5 for child. A reception will follow.

St. Joseph Health Systems.

Join us for our pre-Pesach Lunch 'n' Learn with guest John Bruinsma, who will help us better understand dementia, how it impacts the brain, and translates into behavioral and intellectual deficits. We will also discuss wellness practices that can help keep oneself cognitively health, and how care givers and loved ones can connect with loved ones who experience dementia in positive and meaningful ways.

Aid Through Hostile Borders

Jewish Family Services Passover Appeal

Jewish Family Services is still in need of cash and gift card (Midwest Kosher Deli, Martins, etc.) donations for our Annual Passover Appeal. Our Passover Appeal/Maot Chittim Fund, on a yearly basis, ensures that 50 of our families and community members have the necessary items needed for their Seder tables. 

There are three ways you can contribute to our Passover Appeal:
  • Visit the Jewish Federation to drop off your donation.
  • Visit our website and donate by clicking here (All donations for the food pantry made through April 5 will be applied to Passover Appeal).

Unto Every Person There is a Name

On Monday, April 24 the Jewish Federation will be holding our Annual Unto Every Person There is a Name Memorial Program at the St. Joseph County Court House. As in years past, we invite members of the Jewish and non-Jewish community to take part in our program by reading names of victims of the Holocaust.
