Lavender Graduation is an annual ceremony held to honor the accomplishments of gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, queer, asexual, and allied students at The University of Alabama. Students honored at this event have not only completed the academic requirements for a college degree but have also overcome the odds of being members of the marginalized LGBTQA+ community during their school years. We honor them for that as much as their papers, reports, and projects.
