International Education Week: Inside Rwanda
Monday, November 14 5:00 - 6:00 pm 109 B.B. Comer Hall
Attend this event to learn more about Rwanda from Didier Niyomukiza, a current UA English Language Institute student and Rwandan journalist. He will talk about the history of the country, the cultural differences between Rwanda and the United States, and Rwanda going forward. Everyone is welcome and questions are encouraged!

Join us for a special International Education Week Celebration. We invite everyone with a love of international travel to share experiences, funding tips, study opportunities, and cultural lessons. Evenings at Global Café are opportunities to relax, visit, and meet leaders from campus and community organizations.

Students of Color Leadership Summit - Proposal Submissions
All proposals must be submitted by November 30, 2016.
The Students of Color Leadership Summit will be a one-day conference that allows students, faculty, and staff to unite for educational sessions and dialogue surrounding the topics of leadership and diversity. Faculty, staff, and graduate students are encouraged to submit proposals by 11/30/16 for breakout session presentations on Friday, February 3, 2017. Each breakout session will have a 30-50-minute window for the presentation. Activities and discussion are encouraged to make an interactive experience for attendees.

International Spouse Group

The International Spouse Group is specifically designed to bring together the spouses of international students, faculty, staff and scholars for activities and interaction.
This group is open to the wives or husbands of international students, faculty, staff, as well as American spouses who are interested in making international friendships. We provide support in adjustment and acculturation while living and learning in the U.S.
