Tuscaloosa’s International Friends is a community organization that helps pair Tuscaloosa families with new international students attending UA, Shelton State, and Stillman College. We hope you will help us extend Tuscaloosa’s amazing Southern hospitality by considering joining TIF as a host for one or more international students.

We are incredibly honored and excited to announce the Mildred Westervelt Warner Transportation Museum will host Remembering 4 Little Girls: A Gallery of Creative Expression from the Birmingham Civil Rights Institute.
The exhibition is composed of winning entries in a nationwide high school creative expression contest based on Spike Lee’s Oscar (R) nominated documentary about the 1963 Birmingham, Alabama, church bombing that took the lives of four young girls.

Capstone International Services and Capstone International Center host Capstone International Coffee Hour weekly on Fridays. Come and enjoy free coffee, tea, snacks, and conversation with our friends from around the world.
All international and American students, scholars, faculty, staff and friends are welcome to join.
UA’s Education Abroad office will be hosting the Fall Study Abroad Fair at the Crimson Promenade outside B.B. Comer Hall from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Come explore the options you have to study abroad during your time at UA. Education Abroad staff, UA faculty and representatives from UA affiliate providers will be on hand to meet with students and find a program that works for you.
Would you like a new or renewed U.S. passport, for free? Join Education Abroad and CIEE for the Passport Caravan. Passport Caravan can serve as a catalyst to start planning your international endeavors! We hope to expand and diversify the population of students who have the opportunity to study abroad. Preference will be given to students who do not currently have a valid U.S. passport. Please note: All U.S. State Department eligibility requirements and procedures apply.
