Start your engines for the California Automobile Museum's annual fundraising dinner benefiting our mission to preserve, exhibit, and teach the story of the automobile and its history on our lives. Life in the Fast Lane is a theme chosen to give highlight and pay tribute to the dangerously fast racing profession.

 

Not only will you have the opportunity to meet and greet some of the most entertaining voices in the regional racing domain (listed below), but the Museum got their hands on some wonderful auction items for you to bid handsomely on - for all you risk takers out there.

New Exhibit opens  
Saturday, October 26

The automobile is an invention that has changed the course of human life throughout the globe. But where did the ideas to create it come from? And how exactly do all those parts work? This hands-on exhibit will help explain to visitors of all ages the technologies that all help the automobile "Make a Move".

 

Included in this exhibit will be three very different car chassis that visitors can touch to feel the differences and similarities, cut-aways of engines to see what the big deal about cylinders really is, and more!

The California Automobile Museum invites gearheads of all-ages to celebrate the opening of their latest exhibit, DIRT! Racing on Sacramento's Legendary Tracks. 

 

This exhibit will highlight a special collection brought together by the West Sacramento Raceway. This exhibit launch party
 on November 2 for 
DIRT! Racing on Sacramento's Legendary Tracks, is a gathering for the whole family. Live music from Sacramento's local band High Strung, beer and wine sales, and a new exhibit is something to get your engines revved about!

Fall Back Rally
November 2-3

Trunk-Or-Treat! 
The Best Kids' Halloween event in Sacramento
Sunday, October 27
12:00 pm - 3;00 pm
 

General and adult admission is $8 and kids in costume get in FREE with an adult (3 kids per adult). Trunk-or-Treat, "Dead Car Company" scavenger hunt and a Very Scary haunted house will be available to all visitors. Trunks of cars will be full of candy and available for all our "trunk-or-treaters" at this all-ages event.

All treats and admission deals are in action from 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm on Sunday, October 27 at the California Automobile Museum.

We are getting ready early for our impending tear down!  Join us on October 26 if you have an interest in anything car-related (old diagnostic machines, car parts)
