Join Us for the Grand Opening of the
George Fox Engineering Innovation Center!
Friday,  Sept. 30,
7-9 p.m.

In 2000, George Fox University launched its engineering program with a 1,000-square-foot project lab and machine shop. Since then, the department has increased tenfold.  Given this growth, we recently remodeled the Klages Dining Room on campus  into a  collaborative innovation space.

This new Engineering Innovation Center provides 15,000 additional square feet of space for the College of Engineering. It includes a 6,000-square-foot configurable "Maker_hub"; machine welding and woodworking shops; an additive manufacturing lab; design studios; environmental, geotechnical, construction and transportation lab spaces; and a tool room.

The equipment needed for this new center represents the project's greatest need to date and will be purchased as funds become available. As financial partners step forward, they will enable more students to develop into humanitarian innovators  and entrepreneurial engineers.

This special event is free to industry partners,
alumni and the public. It will include an open house,
student demonstrations, a short program and appetizers.
Come celebrate the future of engineering innovation!
