State Chamber names Enid Chamber "2017 Chamber of the Year"
The Greater Enid Chamber of Commerce was recognized as the Local Chamber of the Year at the State Chamber’s annual meeting on June 21. The State Chamber cited the Enid Chamber’s legislative engagement and support for business advocacy efforts. "This chamber amplifies your voice at the Capitol," said Fred Morgan, President and CEO of the State Chamber of Oklahoma. He commended the Enid Chamber for its longtime membership in the Chamber Action Network program and for sharing the message of the State Chamber with their local business members.

“We appreciate this recognition from the State Chamber,” said  Jon Blankenship, Enid Chamber President and CEO. “The award reflects the efforts of many people. It’s an honor for our members, volunteers and staff.” He said the Enid Chamber is committed to enhancing quality of life and promoting a positive business climate in Enid and the surrounding area.
Dalen McVay, 2017-18 Chamber Chairman

Coming from a small town in the Panhandle, I thought Enid would be "too big." My wife is from Edmond, and she feared Enid would be "too small." Instead, we love it here and Enid is the place we'll retire. It's a good size town with a small-town feel. We are truly blessed to be able to raise our three kids in such a wonderful community.

I'm honored to serve as the Chairman for the Greater Enid Chamber of Commerce for the 2017-2018 year. After serving two years on the Chamber Executive Committee, I've seen many benefits the Chamber is able to provide to its members and the local community. I look forward to not only furthering my commitment to the board, but to Enid as well...Read More.

Camp Tomahawk another success!
The first two weeks of June were fun filled camp days for boys and girls of Enid. Every year the Enid Chamber and Vance Air Force Base team together creating an educational and fun experience for boys and girls who otherwise would not be able to attend a summer camp. Highlights included day trips to Frontier City & Great Salt Plains to dig for crystals, Leonardo's, movies, testing their piloting skills in flight simulators, games of putt putt and much much more!

This opportunity would not have been possible without the generous donations from our local businesses and community supporters! Special thanks to our counselors from Vance AFB who dedicated much time and energy into ensuring a successful experience for the kids!
