Final Chance to Enjoy Free Horse-Drawn Sleigh Rides Around Kamms Plaza

This week, on Friday, December 18, from 6 to 8 p.m. enjoy a free horse-drawn sleigh ride around Kamms Plaza at the corners of Rocky River Drive and Lorain Avenue.

The complimentary sleigh rides depart from the tower corner at 6 p.m. with the last trip leaving around 7:40 p.m. Heavy rain or ice will cause the rides to be cancelled. Bundle up and enjoy this family friendly treat from plaza management. While there, enjoy shopping at the many stores, including Ace Hardware, Carol & John's Comic Shop, Dollar Tree, Kamm's Plaza Pet & Supply, Marc's, Radio Shack.

Dine at Dragon Towers, Gene's Place, Red Lantern, Romeo's Pizza, or Subway Sandwiches. Many plaza establishments offer holiday gift certificates -- a great stocking stuffer!

Cleveland Police and Firefighters Memorial Shines

Last week, Cleveland Court Community Service workers did an outstanding job of cleaning up the leaves and debris surrounding the West Park Cleveland Police and Firefighters Memorial on Rocky River Drive, south of McKinley Avenue.

Court Community Services is a not-for-profit agency that arranges community service work for adult offenders referred from the Cuyahoga County Common Please Court, Cleveland and other municipal courts, as well as the U.S. District Court, and the County Prosecutor's Pre-Trial Felony Diversion Program. The mission of Court Community Service is to design and manage an efficient system of quality alternative sentencing options responsive to the needs of the courts and the community. We here in West Park appreciate their fine services throughout the year, and especially on this recent project.
