From the Festival Director |
Our Festival is about expanding the craft of improv. Every event is an opportunity for artists to discuss, and exchange new ideas. The performances are exciting and new for the audiences, as they are the fruits of the artists' dialogues.

Word Made Flesh: Scar Stories Friday 6/15 8:30
This improv evening is an examination of those body markings which make us imperfect and yet, also make us who we are. Everyone will be invited to show their scars, and share the story of their creation. These stories will serve as the basis for scenes improvised in the moment, and for the moment.

Wabi-sabi Improv Saturday 6/16 8:30 PM
Wabi-sabi is flea markets, not warehouse stores; aged wood, not new steel; rice paper, not glass. It celebrates cracks and crevices and all the other marks that time, weather, and loving-use leaves behind. The improv performed on Saturday will draw from this theme, as the performers and the audience explore these concepts.
