A Kick-Off Event for the Wildcat District is planned for April 1, 2016, 5:30pm at the Independence Riverside Park and Zoo at the East Open 4-H Building (next to the miniature train). We will hike/walk around and through the park and you will be able to record your first mile of activity for the Walk Kansas Campaign.
New this year is that you can register and pay, if you choose, all on-line.
Team captains go to  www.walkkansas.org and click on "My Walk Kansas". If your team registers online, the team captain must first go on and enter all team member names and email addresses.  The system will automatically send an invitation to other team members asking them to register online. They will be able to click on the link and set up their own account as a team member. Participants can even log their exercise time and fruit and vegetable intake on-line. Directions for the on-line registration can be found by  clicking here.
Paper registration packets are also available at the Wildcat District Extension offices.  More information can be found on our website at
