"I have found the entrepreneur events organized
by Rick Goossen to be very useful, both to listen to world-class speakers and to network with other entrepreneurs. I am looking forward to
the upcoming Entrepreneurial Leaders Con- ference and the opportunity to be part of a one- of-kind gathering of Christian entrepreneurs."

Keynote speaker, Art DeFehr, CEO of Palliser Furniture and founding chair of the Canadian Foodgrains Bank recently collected yet another award and further recognition of the contribution he has made to Canada. On July 12th, 2011 a dozen Manitobans, including Art DeFehr, were inducted into the Order of Manitoba at a special legislature ceremony by Lt.-Gov. Philip Lee. The O.M. recipients include a writer and a singer, business leaders and a pastor. The Order is the province's highest honour, reserved each year for individuals who "have demonstrated excellence and achievement... benefiting in an outstanding manner the social, cultural or economic well-being" of the province and its people, Lee's office said in a statement. The announcement was timed to coincide with Manitoba Day, the 141st anniversary of the 1870 day the Manitoba Act was given royal assent.
