Every day, our business counselors provide one-on-one counseling to women entrepreneurs located in Montgomery County, Prince George's County and Frederick County. Maryland Women's Business Center is also supported by a team of attorneys, CPAs, and marketing experts who provide pro bono counsel to our clients. The combined efforts of all parties help entrepreneurs start on the right foot, and expand their businesses to new heights.
In July of 2016, MWBC clients, Natalia von Muhlinen & Mariela Monterroso Hernandez, met with MWBC business counselor Martha Jimenez to discuss their dream of opening Z Sweat Dance and Fitness. After a few months refining their business plan, marketing strategy, registering their business, developing a plan of operations, and securing funding, Z Sweat Dance and Fitness held their grand opening and ribbon cutting on December 3, 2016!
