Deanna Everhart
We are excited to announce that Envision Unlimited client Deanna Everhart has been selected to be a ComEd Energy Force Ambassador!
ComEd selects an Ambassador through extensive screening, recruiting people with dynamic personalities and great public speaking skills. Deanna is passionately outspoken about individuals with disabilities, making her a true role model for her community. She is excited about this opportunity and always finds positive ways to change adverse situations in her life.

This day promises to be fun and exciting as we come together to support the 1,200 children and adults with intellectual and development disabilities that Envision serves each year! All proceeds from the Goose Open ensure that we are able to create a world where our participants are able to achieve maximum choice, independence and community inclusion.

Event Spotlight: Access Chicago
Envision Unlimited recently attended Access Chicago, an annual exposition at Navy Pier sponsored by the Mayor's Office for People with Disabilities (MOPD). Envision was a leading participant, offering an interactive gardening experience for guests and offering handmade client art for purchase, several pieces of which were sold.
"It was wonderful to see our program participants from the Envision horticulture program helping others plant the herb of their choice at our Spice It Up workshop during Access Chicago. There were so many smiles on so many faces as they took their plant home."

Envision clients gained experience in social skills and communication by working at the art table and engaging with all of the activities Access Chicago had to offer. It was an honor and a joy to participate in this year's MOPD Access Chicago event.

Coming Soon: Short Term Stabilization Home
Envision Unlimited
is honored to be chosen by the Illinois Department of Human Services, Division of Developmental Disabilities to implement an innovative new
residential service
program designed to serve and stabilize individuals with behavioral challenges.
Our Short Term Stabilization Homes will be located in the southern Chicago suburbs and serve individuals from across northern Illinois. With a combination of intensive staff support and evidence-based treatment in a small
group environment, the goal of our SSH's is to prevent hospitalization or placement in a state institution, and to help
individuals
transition back to a stable living situation in their communities.
We'll be sharing more as this program progresses!
